DOQUVIDE
The DOQUVIDE quality assurance measure - documentation of quality when recording vital parameters using implanted devices - is a scientific quality assurance program carried out by the German Foundation for the Chronically Ill in collaboration with MED Management GmbH, Berlin, for the outpatient care of patients with implanted cardiac telemedicine-capable implants "CIEDS" (Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Devices). The aim of the quality assurance measure is to map the reality of care for patients with telecardiological devices in Germany and thus improve the quality of care through telemedical applications and demonstrate the corresponding benefits.
All participating practices use the telemonitoring options offered by the manufacturers for the care of their patients via the corresponding internet platforms. In addition, the doctor and practice software "inSuite DOQUVIDE" is used with the standardized event forms stored there to record the diagnostic and therapeutic procedure after an event is reported. After a cardiac event is reported by a unit, the corresponding event form is automatically generated in "inSuite DOQUVIDE" and a corresponding task is stored in the system. The event form to be completed in "inSuite DOQUVIDE" by the monitoring doctor or qualified employee essentially depends on the underlying cardiac event. The practices thus fulfil a structured care in the treatment process in terms of general quality assurance.
